Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Daily tasks include preparing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings.

The Finance

Manager will develop and track budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide financial insights to leadership on profitability, cost control, and resource allocation. The role also involves maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, coordinating audits, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. In addition, the Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasts, process improvements,



and tools that enhance operational efficiency and financial transparency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including experience preparing and reviewing management reports.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in accounting operations, such as general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis, cash flow analysis, and performance metrics development.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of compliance and controls, such as familiarity with accounting standards, statutory requirements, audit coordination, and internal control frameworks.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial software and tools, including spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), ERP or accounting systems, and data visualization or reporting tools.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Beneficial attributes include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in managing or mentoring finance team members, supporting cross-functional projects, and working in a services or technology-driven organization is highly valued.
