We are looking for a motivated Fashion Business Development Intern to support the growth of Poofly. You will work closely with the founders, take ownership of day-to-day online store operations, and help identify new opportunities for expansion. This is a great role for someone who loves fashion and wants real experience in the business side of the industry.

Responsibilities

- Regularly research and identify areas for business growth, including new markets, customer segments, sales channels, and partnerships

- Handle customer requests and inquiries via email, social media, and chat, ensuring prompt and friendly service

- Manage the online shop listings: upload new products, write product descriptions, update pricing and stock, and keep listings accurate and well presented

- Proactively work with the founders to explore expansion opportunities such as collaborations, recent product lines, marketplaces, and pop-up events

- Track sales, customer feedback, and market trends, and share insights and recommendations with the team

- Support marketing and promotional activities, including campaigns, social media, and email outreach

- Research competitors and industry trends to help shape business strategy





- Assist with other business operations as needed

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

- Strong interest in fashion, Indian textiles and crafts, retail, and e-commerce

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Proactive, curious, and comfortable taking initiative

- Ability to work independently and manage time well in a small team

- Basic familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, etc.) is a plus

- Comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; Canva experience is a plus
