Role Description The Factory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations for industrial leather gloves and workwear. The role involves managing daily production activities, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and delivery expectations.

Manager will supervise and guide production teams, optimize resource utilization, and maintain efficient workflow across all stages of the manufacturing process.



This role also includes monitoring compliance with quality assurance systems, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with senior management on operational planning and performance targets.

Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold sustainability and ethical standards, including adherence to company policies on labor practices and community welfare.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning and production management skills for coordinating schedules, resources, and workflow.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control and maintaining stringent quality assurance systems.
- Proficiency in operations management and manufacturing operations, with experience in high-volume industrial production.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, including training, performance supervision, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and ISO-based quality standards; experience with ISO 9001 and energy management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solid communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field; relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in leather or workwear, is highly desirable.
