Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Senior Executive – Event Sales to drive business for our hospitality and event destination at Gandipet, Hyderabad.

The role will be responsible for generating and converting business opportunities across weddings, corporate events, MICE, conferences, banquets, social events and celebrations.

Key Responsibilities

Event Sales & Business Development

- Generate new event enquiries through calls, references, corporate outreach, agencies and market visits.
- Handle enquiries for weddings, MICE, conferences, corporate events, social functions and banquets.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable venues, packages and facilities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and venue/site inspections.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and packages based on client requirements.
- Follow up consistently and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly event-sales targets.

Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies and other business partners.
- Develop new accounts and identify potential business opportunities in Hyderabad.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Handle negotiations and ensure client requirements are aligned with approved commercial terms.

Event & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Banquets, F&B;, Operations, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments for confirmed events.




- Ensure all client requirements and commitments are communicated accurately to the operations team.
- Support the smooth handover of confirmed events from Sales to Operations.
- Participate in pre-event meetings and client discussions whenever required.

Sales Administration & Reporting
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM/database.
- Track enquiries, site visits, quotations, follow-ups, conversions and lost business.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and event pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of upcoming events and expected revenue.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline; Hotel Management / Hospitality / Sales & Marketing preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Event Sales, Banquet Sales, Hotel Sales, MICE Sales, Convention Centre Sales or Hospitality Sales.
- Strong knowledge of event and banquet sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Solid follow-up and relationship-building ability.
- Presentable, energetic and target-oriented.
- Good knowledge of Hyderabad's corporate, wedding and events market will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and business development.

Preferred Background: Candidates from hotels, convention centres, banquet venues, luxury resorts, wedding venues, MICE companies or premium event destinations.
