Job Summary:

We are looking for an Event Conceptualizer who can turn event briefs into compelling creative ideas and immersive experiences.

The role requires someone who can think beyond a conventional event format someone who can develop the big idea, visual language, storytelling approach and creative direction for an experience and take it from the initial thought to a presentation-ready concept.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in event conceptualization, creative strategy, art direction, experiential design and pitch presentations, along with the ability to lead creative teams and collaborate closely with clients, account management, production and operations teams.

This is a hands-on creative leadership role for someone who can think, conceptualize, present, direct, and execute.

Travel may be required based on project requirements.

Experience: 2-10 Years

Qualification: Degree / MBA in Events, Marketing or related

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Event Conceptualization & Creative Strategy

· Understand client briefs, event objectives, audiences, brand guidelines and business requirements.

· Develop big ideas, creative territories and overarching concepts for corporate and experiential events.

· Translate strategic objectives into engaging event experiences and creative narratives.

· Develop concepts that connect brand, audience, space, content and experience.

· Think through the complete attendee journey from arrival and registration to engagement, main experience and exit.

· Develop fresh, innovative and culturally relevant experiential concepts.

· Stay updated on emerging trends across events, experiential marketing, design, technology, entertainment and lifestyle.

2. Creative Direction & Art Direction

· Establish the overall creative direction and visual language for events.

· Develop moodboards, inspiration boards, visual references, thematic directions and design narratives.

· Define the look, feel, tone and storytelling of an experience.

· Provide transparent creative direction to designers, 3D artists, motion designers, content teams and other creative partners.

· Ensure consistency across stage design, venue branding, installations, collaterals, digital screens, signage, engagement zones and other touchpoints.

· Review and refine creative outputs to ensure they align with the approved concept.

3. Pitch & Presentation Development

· Create compelling creative presentations and pitch decks for internal and client presentations.

· Translate ideas into visually strong and easy-to-understand presentations.

· Develop concept narratives, key visuals, moodboards, experience journeys and spatial references.

· Present concepts confidently to clients and internal leadership.

· Explain the creative rationale behind concepts and respond constructively to feedback.

· Participate in client pitches,



brainstorming sessions and creative reviews.

4. Creative Briefing

· Convert event briefs into clear and actionable creative briefs.

· Provide the creative team with relevant references, objectives, key messaging, moodboards and visual direction.

· Ensure designers and creative partners understand the thought behind the concept before execution begins.

· Maintain clarity between the original creative idea and the final execution.

5. Experiential & Spatial Thinking

· Conceptualize engaging experiences across different event environments and formats.

· Develop ideas for stages, entrances, installations, photo opportunities, interactive zones, engagement activities, breakout spaces and branded environments.

· Think spatially and understand how creative concepts translate into physical environments.

· Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure concepts are creatively impactful while remaining practical and executable.

· Balance creative ambition, brand requirements, budget and execution feasibility.

6. Collaboration & Team Leadership

· Work closely with Client Servicing, Strategy, Production, Operations and other internal teams.

· Collaborate with external designers, fabricators, artists, vendors and creative partners where required.

· Lead and mentor junior members of the creative team.

· Delegate creative tasks and ensure timely delivery of creative outputs.

· Conduct creative reviews and provide constructive feedback.

· Take ownership of creative quality across assigned projects.

7. Brand & Trend Understanding

· Understand brand identities and translate them into experiential environments.

· Research brands, industries, audiences, competitors, and cultural trends.

· Identify relevant trends in design, technology, entertainment, experiential marketing, lifestyle, and consumer behaviour.

· Bring fresh references and ideas to brainstorming and pitch conversations.

· Ensure concepts remain contemporary, relevant, and differentiated.

8. Project & Creative Management

· Manage multiple creative projects and pitches simultaneously.

· Ensure creative deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.

· Maintain creative trackers, presentations, reference libraries and project documentation.

· Work effectively under tight deadlines and changing requirements.

· Participate in post-event reviews and incorporate learnings into future concepts.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Creative & Conceptual Skills

· Strong experience in event conceptualization and experiential creative development.

· Excellent ideation and storytelling abilities.

· Strong understanding of visual communication and art direction.

· Ability to develop a concept from a blank page based on a client brief.

· Strong understanding of event environments, spatial branding and audience experiences.

· Ability to develop strong moodboards and visual narratives.

· Ability to think both conceptually and practically.

Presentation Skills





· Strong experience in creating creative pitch decks and presentations.

· Ability to communicate creative ideas clearly and persuasively.

· Comfortable presenting concepts to senior stakeholders and clients.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

· Experience working with an experiential/event agency, advertising agency, design studio or brand experience company.

· Understanding of 3D event design and spatial visualization.

· Basic understanding of design tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.

· Understanding of motion graphics, AV, interactive technology and digital experiences.

· Knowledge of fabrication and production processes.

· Exposure to AI-powered creative and ideation tools.

· Experience working on large-scale corporate events, brand activations, conferences, launches or employee experiences.

IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate would be someone who:

· Has experience in event conceptualization, experiential marketing, creative direction or a related creative role.

· Has worked with an event agency, experiential agency, advertising agency or corporate events team.

· Has conceptualized and presented creative ideas for small, mid-sized and large-scale events.

· Can independently take a brief and develop it into a strong creative concept.

· Has strong experience in creating moodboards, creative narratives, pitch decks and visual directions.

· Understands how an idea moves from concept → design → production → on-ground experience.

· Has experience managing or mentoring creative teams.

· Can collaborate effectively with clients, account managers, production teams and vendors.

· Has the ability to defend a creative thought while remaining open to feedback.

· Understands the balance between creative ambition, client expectations, budget and execution feasibility.

· Can work effectively under tight timelines and high-pressure pitch environments.
