Job Summary The Workplace Engineer is responsible for managing environmental compliance, ETP operations, ISO systems, EcoVadis documentation, and statutory requirements related to GPCB and other regulatory authorities. The role involves monitoring environmental performance, maintaining legal and operational documentation, coordinating with external agencies and consultants, ensuring effective waste management practices, and supporting sustainable environmental operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. ISO & EcoVadis Activities
· Handling ISO-related activities including Objective Targets, Aspect-Impact Analysis, HIRA, CAR, MOC, Operational Controls, and periodic reviews.
· Participation and coordination in EcoVadis-related documentation and compliance activities.
· Maintaining records and ensuring implementation of environmental management systems.
2. ETP Operations
· Monitoring and handling ETP plant operations.
· Review of effluent testing such as COD, Ammoniacal Nitrogen, pH, MLSS, and MLVSS in the QA Laboratory.
· Maintaining On-Job Training (OJT) records.
· Conducting Environment and Housekeeping-related training for ETP personnel.
· Preparing ERP reports and maintaining related documentation wherever applicable.
3. GPCB & Legal Compliance
· Maintaining all files related to GPCB including Consents and Correspondence on a regular basis.
· Preparing documents and coordinating during GPCB visits with RO/HO officials.
· Coordination with consultants for meetings, visits, and compliance activities.
· Handling documentation related to EC, CGWA, and other environmental legal compliances.
· Monitoring and coordinating CEMS-related activities.
Skills & Competencies
· Knowledge of Environmental Laws, GPCB regulations, and statutory compliances
· Understanding of ISO Management Systems and EcoVadis requirements
· Knowledge of ETP operations and wastewater treatment processes
· Familiarity with environmental testing parameters such as COD, pH, MLSS, MLVSS, and Ammoniacal Nitrogen
· Documentation and record management skills
· ERP handling and reporting knowledge
· Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Strong communication and coordination skills
· Ability to handle regulatory inspections and audits
· Time management and multitasking capability
· Training and awareness program conducting skills
· Basic computer proficiency in MS Office and online compliance portals
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
