Position: Restaurant Cashier

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Salary: ₹20000 to 25000 per month

Job Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, UPI and other payment transactions accurately.
Generate bills and invoices for customers.
Operate POS/billing software and maintain daily sales records.
Handle cash counter and ensure proper cash reconciliation at the end of the shift.
Manage refunds, discounts and complimentary bills as per company policy.
Coordinate with restaurant staff regarding orders and billing.
Maintain accurate records of daily cash collections.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic billing-related queries.
Ensure the cash counter is clean, organized and secure.
Prepare daily cash and sales reports for management.

Requirements




Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant/hospitality industry.
Basic knowledge of POS and billing systems.
Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel is preferred.
Positive numerical and accounting skills.
Honest, responsible and attentive to detail.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.
