Job Description
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to maximize efficiency and cost savings
Identify and vet potential suppliers in alignment with company standards and goals
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and terms




Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate changes in pricing and availability
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
Resolve any potential issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and qualified manner
Stay abreast of industry best practices and innovations to improve purchasing processes
Train and mentor junior purchasing staff to ensure departmental success
Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess and improve purchasing processes.
