Description

We are seeking motivated Medical Coders Fresher to join our team in Egmore, Chennai. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates who are passionate about healthcare and looking to start their career in medical coding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Note: Need to have a medical coding training certificate from a reputed institution or a CPC certificate.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
- Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify information and ensure accurate coding.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information.
- Stay updated with coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.

Skills and Qualifications





- Basic understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valuable communication skills for interaction with healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in medical coding (such as CPC, CCS, or CCA) is a plus but not mandatory.

Salary: 20-22K per month.

Work Location: Egmore, Chennai.

Food provided free of cost. Dayshift.

Sat and Sun fixed week off.
