OneUpNetworks is a growing technology company providing cloud, hosting, infrastructure and managed IT services to businesses in the US.
We are looking for a US Accounting & Tax Operations Associate who can manage our day-to-day accounting operations while developing strong expertise in US taxation, QuickBooks and accounting processes.
This is more than a traditional bookkeeping role. Since our accounting and tax transaction volume is currently manageable, you will have significant time to learn US accounting and taxation in depth and work closely with our technology team to identify and build AI-powered automation and agents for accounting and tax workflows.

The Role
You will initially be responsible for:
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Billing and invoicing
• QuickBooks Online
• Basic bookkeeping and reconciliations
• US tax-related operational work
• Finance documentation and reporting





As you develop expertise, you will also work with our developers to understand accounting and taxation workflows and help convert repetitive processes into AI-powered agents and automation.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & QuickBooks• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities in QuickBooks Online.
• Maintain customer and vendor accounts.
• Handle AR and AP.
• Prepare and manage customer invoices.
• Track receivables and payments.
• Process and track vendor bills.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with monthly accounting close and reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and follow up for resolution.

US Taxation• Develop a solid working understanding of US federal and state taxation.
• Assist with tax-related documentation and information gathering.
• Maintain tax and compliance calendars.
• Research basic US tax/accounting questions.
