Role Description The Solar Sales Manager (EPC/80 MW) is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for driving sales of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services for solar projects, with a focus on large-scale installations of around 80 MW. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing proposals and commercial offers, and leading contract negotiations. The Solar Sales Manager collaborates with technical, finance, and project teams to develop competitive bids, ensure accurate costing, and align solutions with client requirements and regulatory standards. The role also involves monitoring market trends, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, and reporting sales performance and forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in solar EPC sales, preferably in utility-scale or large commercial projects (around 50–80 MW or higher).




• Strong understanding of solar power project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development and closing.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, finance, and operations.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret market data, pricing structures, and project economics.
• Comfortable working in office in New Delhi and traveling as needed for client meetings and site visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or renewable energy is an advantage.
