About the Role
SBAG & Co LLP is an accounting and bookkeeping services firm working with businesses and accounting firms, primarily in the US.
We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will work on the books of our clients and gradually take ownership of their day-to-day accounting activities.
Freshers with a good understanding of accounting principles are welcome to apply. We are more interested in your accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take responsibility than in years of experience.

What You Will Do
• Maintain and manage accounting records for our clients.
• Record and categorize day-to-day business transactions.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Review transactions and identify missing, unusual, or incorrectly recorded entries.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports.




• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Work on accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, and other cloud accounting platforms.
• Review client books and follow up on missing information or documents.
• Communicate with clients when clarification or additional information is required.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for accounting entries.
• Assist senior team members with accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting assignments.
• Follow client-specific accounting procedures and internal SOPs.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within agreed deadlines.

What We Are Looking For
• Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or a related field.
• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts, including:
• Journal entries
• Ledger and trial balance
• Bank reconciliation
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
