QC Chemist or Executive

Qualification:- B.Sc or M.Sc or any relevant Courses

Experience:- 1 to 4 years experienced in Nutraceutical or Herbal or Food or Pharmaceutical industry

Location:- Bengaluru (Peenya)

Develop and optimize nutraceutical and herbal formulations through small-scale laboratory trials.

Conduct trials for powder, capsule, tablet, liquid and other formulations.

Basic knowledge of ingredient and excipient selection for formulation development.

Familiarity with chemicals, solvents, acids, alkalis, reagents and their safe handling.

Review raw-material COAs and specifications and ensure suitable materials are selected for development trials

Knowledge of granulation processes and basic optimization of granulation parameters.

Basic knowledge of HBD (High Bulk Density) powder processing and related development trials.

Perform trials for flowability, bulk density, solubility, dispersibility, color, odor and stability.

Basic knowledge of synthesis process and small-scale development processes.

Perform basic reaction work-up, filtration,



washing and drying during development trials.

Knowledge of crystallization/precipitation techniques at laboratory scale.

Troubleshoot basic formulation issues such as lumping, poor flow, poor solubility, discoloration, odor and crystallisation problems.

Maintain R&D; trial records, observations, calculations and development reports.

Coordinate with QC, QA and Production for testing and scale-up trials.

Follow basic GMP, GLP and laboratory safety practices.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of nutraceutical ingredients, herbal extracts and excipients.
- Hands-on experience in formulation trials, granulation and powder processing.
- Basic knowledge of wet analysis HPLC/UV/ is an advantage.
- Valuable laboratory handling, documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and perform hands-on development trials independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
