Job Description:

Position: Quality Manager

Location: Vapi

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Industries: Automobile

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as per IATF 16949 and ISO standards.
- Lead incoming, in-process, and final quality assurance across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with OEM customer standards, audits, and scorecards.
- Drive defect reduction initiatives, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and zero-defect culture.
- Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Oversee PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, and 7 QC tools implementation.
- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, supplier quality, and maintenance teams for quality improvement.




- Develop and mentor the quality team; define KPIs and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and OEM requirements.
- Expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Leadership, team management, and solid decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling capabilities.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
