Your Role
· You will be an Engineer within the Highways team carrying out the design and checking of a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:
· Project based supervision of designers and drafting staff
· Maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers
· Delivering projects to time and budget
· Liaising with Canada based customers in a responsive and client focused manner
The successful candidate will need to
· Be highly self-motivated and ambitious
· Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry
· Be able to work with minimal supervision
· Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working settings to build rapport with customers
· Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients
· Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business workplace
