Job Title: Accountant Location: Kosapur, Chennai Experience: 2+ Years Salary: 35,000 per month About the Role

Stretch Wrap Industries is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliance, GST-related work, TDS, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST filing, E-Way Bills, and TDS.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

- Maintain purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally Prime.

- Prepare and manage E-Way Bills for sales and purchase transactions.

- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within the prescribed timelines.

- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and filing.

- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

- Monitor receivables and payables.

- Verify invoices, vouchers, purchase and sales documents.

- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.





- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, customers, and other departments whenever required.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.

- Hands-on experience in GST filing.

- Good knowledge of E-Way Bills.

- Practical knowledge of TDS and related compliance.

- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, AP & AR.

- Good proficiency in MS Excel.

- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

B. Com / M. Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.

- Candidates with experience in manufacturing / trading / industrial companies will be preferred.

- Should be comfortable independently handling routine accounting and statutory compliance activities.

- Good communication and organizational skills.
