About our client:
Our client is a 'Fin Tech company addresses key points of friction hindering the adoption of rooftop solar through a digital lending platform, an online B2B marketplace combined with a comprehensive suite of Solar Tech tools for the ecosystem. This is the only RBI-licensed solar-focused NBFC in India, It facilitates solar loans for businesses and homeowners, along with supply chain finance for solar EPC companies. Beyond financing, their Sun Store platform offers a dedicated marketplace for stakeholders to access top-quality equipment at competitive prices.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic initiatives
Support the CEO/COO on strategic initiatives across Business, Credit, Risk, Operations, Finance and Technology.
Prepare management/board presentations, analytical notes and decision-support material.
Conduct financial feasibility and scenario analysis for new lending products, credit structures, co-lending arrangements, escrow mechanisms, PPAs and other strategic opportunities.
Drive selected strategic projects from analysis through execution.
2. FP&A; & Business Performance
Own annual budgeting and rolling forecasts across the Company's solar lending portfolios.
Build financial models covering disbursements, AUM, yields, CoF, NIM, credit costs, opex and profitability.
Analyse monthly performance and key variances against budget and forecast.
Track liquidity,
funding requirements and key financial metrics in coordination with Finance/Treasury.
Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimisation and improved portfolio economics.
3. Data Analytics & Automation
Build Python/SQL-based models, dashboards and automated reporting tools for management decision-making.
Automate recurring finance, portfolio and regulatory reporting processes.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, operational inefficiencies and business opportunities.
Work with technology/product teams to implement scalable data and reporting solutions.
Job Requirements:
3 6 years of experience in FP&A;, financial planning, business analytics, project/corporate finance or a similar role in an NBFC, bank or financial services company.
CA, CFA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Robust understanding of financial modelling, P&L;, balance sheet, cash flows and lending economics.
Advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of Python and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
