We are looking for a Food Technologist to support food product development, production processes, quality control and food safety for a growing FMCG manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, improve and standardise food products and recipes.

- Conduct trials for new products, ingredients and formulations.

- Monitor food production processes to ensure consistent quality and product standards.

- Prepare and maintain product specifications, formulations and process documents.

- Conduct raw material, in-process and finished-product quality checks.

- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve product/process issues.

- Conduct shelf-life, stability and sensory evaluation studies.

- Support product improvement, cost optimisation and process development.

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.

- Monitor hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices across production areas.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw material specifications and quality.

- Investigate quality deviations and support CAPA / corrective actions.

- Maintain quality records, testing reports and product documentation.

- Support new product launches and production scale-up.

- Stay updated on food industry trends, ingredients, processing techniques and regulatory requirements.

Requirements Strong knowledge of Food Technology & Food Processing.
Food product development and formulation.
Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP and GMP.
Quality control and food safety practices.
Raw material and finished-product testing.




Sensory evaluation and shelf-life testing.
Knowledge of food ingredients, additives and preservatives.
Process standardisation and optimisation.
Good documentation and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience

- 2–6 years of experience in Food Technology / Food Product Development / Quality.

- Experience in FMCG Food Manufacturing preferred.

- Experience in Snacks, Bakery, Confectionery, Beverages, Ready-to-Eat or Processed Foods will be an advantage.

- Candidates with exposure to product trials, formulation and food safety systems preferred.
