Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge client's functional and technical requirements at the module level by assisting in outlining technical specifications, performing basic configuration, and troubleshooting initial system issues.

Areas of Responsibility

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.

Data Networking Implement & Maintenance

Mission: Design, build, and support the network behavior required to move live customer traffic between paired systems without disrupting persistent connections.

Core responsibilities :

Design and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network flows.

Support IP movement, routing, failover, traffic draining, and recovery.

Analyze TCP connection and socket behavior during maintenance and failure scenarios.

Perform packet-level diagnostics and root-cause analysis.

Partner with proxy developers on stateful traffic movement and connection preservation.

Participate in integration, performance, resiliency, and production-readiness testing.

Required skills :

Strong hands-on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.

TCP/IP, socket behavior, routing, ARP/GARP, VLANs, NAT, and high-availability patterns.

Linux networking and systems troubleshooting.

Wireshark, tcpdump, or equivalent packet-analysis tools.

Practical experience with resilient or active-active network services.

Preferred experience :

Fortinet, Cisco, F5, HAProxy, NGINX, Envoy, or similar technologies.

Financial transaction, telecom, network-appliance, or other mission-critical environments.

Linux kernel networking, eBPF, or low-level network diagnostics.

Mandatory Skills: Data Networking Implement & Maintenance .
