Role Description The Audit Senior is a full time, on-site role based in Kalyan. The individual will lead and execute statutory, internal, and tax audits, including planning audit scopes, testing controls, and reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities include supervising junior team members, reviewing their working papers, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and preparing clear audit reports and recommendations.

Senior will liaise with clients to understand their business processes, resolve audit queries, and communicate findings in a professional manner. The role also involves assisting with tax computations, regulatory filings, and contributing to process improvements and quality control within the firm.

Qualifications

- Strong audit and assurance skills, including experience with statutory audits, internal audits, and review of financial statements.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance relevant to corporate and non-corporate entities.
- Ability to lead assignments, supervise junior staff, review work papers, and manage client deliverables within deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction, report writing, and presentation of findings.
- Proficiency in MS Office and common accounting/audit software; comfort working with large data sets and documentation.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; relevant experience in audit or assurance with a CA firm is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, integrity, and a commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
