Job Description – Quality Control Executive (Fresher)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Incoming Material Inspection
- Assist in checking the quality of incoming paperboard, inks, coatings and other raw materials.
- Maintain incoming material inspection records.
- In-Process Quality Inspection
- Inspect cartons during printing, coating, punching, embossing, foiling and pasting operations.
- Check printing quality, colour variations, registration, scratches, spots and other defects.
- Verify carton dimensions, creasing, folding and pasting quality.
- Identify and report defective material to the QC Manager and Production Supervisor.
- Final Quality Inspection
- Inspect finished cartons before packing and dispatch.
- Verify packing quality, quantities, labels and customer specifications.
- Assist in preparing Certificates of Analysis (COA) and final inspection reports.
- Quality Documentation
- Maintain daily inspection reports and rejection records.
- Assist in implementing ISO 9001:2015, 5S and quality management procedures.
- Maintain proper records of quality inspections and corrective actions.
- Quality Improvement
- Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues.




- Assist in identifying causes of rejection and reducing production wastage.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and training programmes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. or any relevant discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of printing and packaging processes will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn quality inspection techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel.
- Valuable observation skills, attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
- Ability to work on the production floor and coordinate with different departments.

Training Provided

Selected candidates will receive practical training in:

- Mono carton manufacturing processes.
- Offset printing and colour quality inspection.
- Punching, creasing, folding and pasting quality checks.
- Quality inspection instruments and testing methods.
- ISO 9001:2015 documentation and 5S practices.
- COA preparation, inspection reporting and customer quality requirements.
