Note: Most of the work involves thin-gauge (low-thickness) sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor the assigned CNC machine as per drawings and job cards
- Load programs and nesting; select correct cutting/bending parameters for material and thickness
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances
- Carry out first-piece and in-process quality checks using vernier, measuring tape and angle gauge
- Minimise material wastage, rejection and rework
- Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance; report breakdowns promptly
- Follow all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping
- Maintain daily production and shift records
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience on one or more of the machines listed above
- Experience in thin sheet metal fabrication preferred
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or a related trade preferred
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring instruments
- Must be willing to work at our Punjab facility
