SolidWorks & Injection Mould Design Engineer

Experience:2–3 Years

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Create and modify injection mould designs, mould assemblies, and mould components.

Prepare detailed technical drawings for mould manufacturing and production.

Design moulds for plastic components, considering product specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Develop mould layouts, part drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.

Ensure proper design of mould cavities, cores, runners, gates, ejector systems, and cooling systems.

Understand product drawings and convert them into manufacturable mould designs.

Coordinate with the production, tool room, and manufacturing teams to resolve design-related issues.

Modify existing mould designs according to production requirements and customer feedback.

Ensure dimensional accuracy, design quality, and adherence to manufacturing standards.





Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and design files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Solid working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory.

Practical experience in injection mould design and development.

Knowledge of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, assemblies, and engineering drawings.

Understanding of injection moulding processes and plastic component design.

Knowledge of mould components, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
