Job Description – Junior General Insurance Assistant

Salary: Around ₹15,000 per month
Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Freshers may also apply)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior General Insurance Assistant to support daily insurance operations, policy documentation, renewals, and client coordination. Candidates with experience in general insurance, particularly with an insurance broker, agency, or insurance company, will be preferred.

Fresh graduates with good computer skills, basic MS Excel knowledge, communication skills, and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare general insurance quotations.
- Assist with policy issuance and documentation.
- Manage policy renewals and follow up with clients.
- Process policy endorsements and related documentation.




- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policies, and other requirements.
- Assist with claims documentation and follow-ups.
- Maintain client records, policy details, and renewal trackers.
- Handle email correspondence and general office administration.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in general insurance is preferred.
- Freshers with good computer and MS Excel skills may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and documentation is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain records and manage routine office tasks.
