Primary Responsibilities

An Architect is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality architectural design and documentation across various stages of a project. The role involves working on residential, institutional, cultural and other architectural projects, from concept development through design development, construction documentation and site execution. The role requires robust design thinking, technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to translate project requirements into functional, contextual and aesthetically appropriate architectural solutions. The Architect will work closely with senior architects, consultants and project teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Roles:

- Assist in the design and development of residential, institutional, cultural and other architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Understand project briefs, client requirements, site conditions, functional requirements and relevant design considerations.
- Develop conceptual design proposals, spatial planning, design studies and architectural schemes under the guidance of senior architects.
- Prepare and develop architectural drawings, presentations, design documentation and project submissions.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations, details and other technical drawings during different stages of the project.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, interior and other consultant requirements.
- Review and incorporate inputs from senior architects, consultants, clients and other project stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of Design Development and Construction Documentation including detailed drawings, schedules and specifications.
- Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, coordinated and issued within project timelines.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings and internal coordination meetings.




- Conduct site visits to understand site conditions, monitor design implementation and assist in resolving architectural and technical issues.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors and site teams to ensure the design intent is maintained during execution.
- Review site conditions and provide necessary design clarifications and drawing revisions as required.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, project information and other architectural deliverables.
- Contribute to material, finish and architectural system selections in coordination with the project team.
- Support senior architects in managing multiple project deliverables, priorities and deadlines.
- Stay updated on architectural design trends, materials, construction practices and relevant industry developments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project execution, preferably across residential, institutional, cultural or similar projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design and documentation software, particularly AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of architectural planning, design development and construction documentation.
- Good knowledge of building materials, construction methods, detailing and coordination with consultants.
- Strong communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a creative, analytical and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into practical architectural solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, drawings and deadlines efficiently.
- Willingness to participate in site visits and coordinate with project execution teams.
- Strong interest in architectural design, contextual thinking and continuous learning.
