We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with solid expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies, MQ Integration, DB2 databases, IMS DC, and Windows scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise-critical applications while ensuring seamless integration between mainframe and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS DC, and DB2.

- Develop and support IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) integrations between mainframe and distributed applications.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Create and maintain Windows scripts (PowerShell, Batch scripts, VBScript) for automation, monitoring, and deployment activities.

- Perform DB2 database design, SQL optimization, performance tuning, and query development.

- Support IMS DC transactions and troubleshoot production issues.

- Participate in application modernization and integration initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.

- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.

- Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures.

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and organizational standards.
