Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and guest-oriented F&B; Captain to oversee dining operations, manage a team of stewards, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, deep knowledge of food and beverage operations, and a strong track record of maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the assigned restaurant section or banquet floor, ensuring smooth table rotations, prompt service, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

* Team Leadership: Direct, train, and motivate stewards and commis waiters. Assign tasks, manage side-duties, and ensure the team is well-groomed and qualified.

* Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, present menus, and offer detailed recommendations on food and wine pairings.

* Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, upsell premium menu items, and ensure seamless communication with the kitchen team.

* Issue Resolution: Handle guest complaints, feedback,



and special requests efficiently and professionally to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

* Billing & Accuracy: Ensure accurate billing, handle payments securely, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.

* Inventory & Hygiene: Maintain strict control over restaurant inventory, cutlery, and operating equipment. Ensure the dining area adheres to safety, health, and cleanliness standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality.

* Experience: 2–4 years of experience in F&B; Service, with at least 1 year in a Captain or Senior Steward role within a reputed hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.

* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly. Proficiency in Micros, IDS, or other restaurant POS software is a plus.

* Language: Fluent in English and Hindi. Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
