The Sales Officer is responsible for developing sales, expanding market coverage, building solid customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role involves promoting ice cream products, appointing new distributors and retailers, ensuring product availability, monitoring competitor activities, and maintaining effective distribution and sales operations.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Sales and Business Development

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, retailers, and institutional customers.
- Promote the company's ice cream products across assigned markets.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional schemes to increase revenue.

B. Market Visit and Retailer Management

- Conduct regular market visits to supermarkets, provision stores, ice cream parlours, hotels, restaurants, and other retail outlets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new sales opportunities.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper placement at retail outlets.
- Monitor stock levels, sales movement, and retailer requirements.
- Collect market feedback and resolve customer complaints promptly.

C. Distribution and Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with distributors, delivery teams,



and the dispatch department to ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor order placement, billing, dispatch, and delivery status.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of ice cream products under the required frozen-chain conditions.
- Monitor freezer availability, condition, and utilisation at retail outlets.
- Coordinate stock replenishment and minimise stock-outs and product wastage.

D. Sales Reporting and Administration

- Prepare daily sales reports and submit market visit updates.
- Maintain customer databases, sales records, order details, and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor outstanding payments and support timely collection from customers.
- Analyse sales performance and report deviations from targets.
- Submit competitor activity reports, market trends, and sales forecasts to management.

E. Team Coordination and Market Development

- Coordinate with sales coordinators, distributors, delivery personnel, and other internal departments.
- Support the implementation of marketing campaigns and seasonal promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, schemes, and market developments.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales volume, distribution efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
