Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Purchase Executive to handle purchase and procurement activities for ongoing plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders and timely procurement of project-related materials.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle day-to-day project purchase and procurement activities.

· Understand project material requirements and BOQ.

· Source materials and equipment from suitable vendors.

· Identify and coordinate with new and existing vendors.

· Collect quotations and prepare comparative statements.

· Negotiate with vendors for price, quality and delivery.

· Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).

· Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.

· Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores and Finance teams.

· Procure mechanical, electrical, civil and other project-related materials.

· Track pending POs and ensure timely material availability at site.

· Resolve issues related to delivery, shortage and quality.

· Maintain purchase records, quotations,



vendor details and POs.

· Support cost-saving and vendor development activities.

· Prepare regular purchase/procurement status reports.

Required Skills

· Basic to good knowledge of Project Purchase / CAPEX Procurement.

· Positive vendor coordination and negotiation skills.

· Knowledge of industrial/project materials.

· Understanding of BOQ, RFQ, quotation comparison and PO process.

· Good communication and follow-up skills.

· MS Excel and basic MS Office knowledge.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

· Experience in manufacturing plants, industrial projects, EPC or project-based industries preferred.

· Hands-on experience in Project Purchase / CAPEX Purchase will be an advantage.

· Candidates with good vendor coordination, quotation comparison and PO handling experience are preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
