Role overview
As a Solar Project Engineer, you will plan and manage solar projects from site survey to commissioning. You will coordinate installation teams, electrical work and contractors to make sure each project meets quality, safety and timeline targets.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and supervise solar rooftop installations
- Conduct site surveys and prepare layouts and material requirements
- Manage electrical work, including DC/AC wiring, earthing, inverter and panel connections
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, vendors and customers
- Monitor project progress, materials and timelines




- Ensure quality, safety and compliance at every site
- Support testing, commissioning and handover
- Prepare project reports and documentation

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
- Practical knowledge of the solar industry
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams

Preferred

- Experience in solar rooftop projects
- Knowledge of net metering and DISCOM procedures
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or PVsyst
