Job Summary

JSE Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in HVAC and mechanical building services design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HVAC system design, heat load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork design and preparation of engineering drawings for building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, industrial and other building projects.
- Perform heat load calculations and select appropriate HVAC equipment.
- Design and develop ducting layouts, chilled water piping layouts and ventilation systems.
- Work on HVAC systems such as VRF/VRV, chilled water, DX and fresh air systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, sections, schematics and detailed engineering drawings.
- Perform duct sizing, pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations and equipment selection.
- Coordinate HVAC designs with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, structural and architectural teams.
- Review design drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit MEP for design development and drawing preparation.
- Coordinate with BIM teams to resolve design clashes and incorporate project revisions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design calculations and equipment schedules.




- Ensure timely completion of design deliverables according to project requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services design.
- Experience in heat load calculations, duct sizing and HVAC equipment selection.
- Knowledge of chilled water systems, VRF/VRV, DX systems and ventilation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
- Familiarity with HAP or TRACE 3D Plus for load calculations is an advantage.
- Understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA and relevant engineering standards.
- Knowledge of HVAC design coordination and technical documentation.
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in HVAC design or mechanical building services is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in MEP consultancy, engineering design services or HVAC design consultancy.
- Experience with commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, hotels or industrial facilities.
- Candidates with GCC or international project experience will have an added advantage.
