About the Role

We are hiring enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chefs – Continental for a premium dining restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to maintaining food quality, hygiene, and consistency in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef de Partie and senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place as per service requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of continental dishes.
- Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the assigned kitchen section.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Minimise food wastage and handle ingredients responsibly.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and instructions from senior chefs.





Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Freshers with a culinary qualification or relevant training may apply.
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in culinary arts is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
