Hi,

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase & Stores Executive to manage our purchasing and stores activities for a manufacturing company dealing in prefabricated machinery and related components.

The ideal candidate should have more than 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, good knowledge of purchase processes, inventory and stock management, and hands-on experience with Tally.

The person should be practical, organized, and capable of coordinating with suppliers, production, stores, accounts, and management to ensure materials are available on time and stock is maintained properly.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase activities for raw materials, machinery components, consumables, hardware, electrical items, and other production requirements.
- Identify and coordinate with existing and new suppliers for material requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate with vendors, and place purchase orders after approval.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per production requirements.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and other purchase documents.
- Manage stores and inventory, including receipt, issue, and proper storage of materials.
- Check incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate stock records and regularly monitor stock levels.
- Coordinate with the production team to understand upcoming material requirements and avoid shortages.
- Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels for regularly used materials.
- Enter and maintain purchase,



stock, and inventory transactions in Tally.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team regarding supplier invoices, purchase entries, and payment-related documentation.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and identify shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and negotiate for better pricing and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase and stock-related reports for management whenever required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the stores area.
- Handle any other purchase or stores-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Purchase & Stores, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in prefabricated machinery, fabrication, engineering, machinery manufacturing, or a similar industry will be preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Tally.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good understanding of purchase processes, vendor management, quotation comparison, and negotiation.
- Ability to understand material specifications, quantities, and basic engineering/industrial items.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Valuable communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, production, stores, accounts, and management.
- Should be responsible, organized, and capable of working independently.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
