Job Summary :

Nucleus International School is seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced Cambridge Primary Mathematics Teacher with hands-on, real-time experience in implementing the Cambridge Primary Mathematics Curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong mathematical knowledge, excellent English communication skills, formal writing proficiency, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging, practical, and easy for students to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.

- Demonstrate practical experience in implementing Cambridge Mathematics learning objectives, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.

- Develop students’ numerical skills, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Teach mathematical concepts such as numbers, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, patterns, and data handling according to the assigned grade level.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, classroom activities, assessments, and teaching resources aligned with Cambridge standards.

- Use practical activities, visual aids, manipulatives, and real-life examples to simplify mathematical concepts.

- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to support students with different learning abilities.

- Assess student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

- Maintain academic records, student progress reports, assessment documentation, and other required records.





- Create an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages mathematical thinking and independent learning.

- Communicate professionally with parents, colleagues, and school management in spoken and written English.

- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure effective curriculum delivery and continuous improvement in teaching practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Ed. / M.Ed. qualification, preferably with a Mathematics-related degree or specialisation.

- Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge-affiliated school.

- Mandatory hands-on, real-time experience with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics Curriculum.

- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and accurately.

- Excellent English communication skills, including fluency, grammar, pronunciation, and classroom instruction.

- Strong formal writing skills for lesson plans, academic reports, emails, worksheets, and school documentation.

- Good understanding of inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, formative assessment, and student-centred teaching.

- Ability to use practical teaching aids and real-world applications to develop conceptual understanding.

- Solid classroom management, organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with proven experience teaching Mathematics under the Cambridge Primary Curriculum will be given preference.

- Candidates should be confident in delivering lessons in English and explaining mathematical concepts using clear, structured methods.

- Candidates should demonstrate creativity, patience, professionalism, and a student-focused approach.

- Preference will be given to English proficiency, and relevant teaching experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
