Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator – Network & Security with 3+ years of relevant experience in system administration, network management, and IT security. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, managing servers and network devices, implementing security measures, and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of organizational systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, network infrastructure, firewall management, VPNs, access control, backup and recovery, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Administration

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Monitor system performance, server availability, storage, and resource utilization.
- Perform regular operating system updates, security patching, and system maintenance.
- Manage system backups, data restoration, and disaster recovery procedures.

2. Network Administration

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
- Manage network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity, latency, and availability issues.
- Configure and maintain VPN connections and secure remote access.




- Maintain network documentation, configurations, and infrastructure diagrams.

3. Network Security

- Configure and manage firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and network access controls.
- Monitor network traffic and identify suspicious activities or potential security threats.
- Implement endpoint protection, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation measures.
- Conduct routine security checks and ensure timely application of security patches.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Follow IT security best practices to protect organizational systems and data.

4. Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance

- Monitor server health, network availability, and infrastructure performance.
- Implement and maintain backup schedules and recovery procedures.
- Identify potential infrastructure issues and resolve them proactively.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, system configurations, incident logs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with service providers and internal teams for infrastructure support and maintenance.

5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and resolve system, network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support for infrastructure-related incidents.




- Prioritize and resolve issues based on business impact and urgency.
- Recommend improvements to infrastructure reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

- Robust knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, user administration, and access management.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, endpoint security, system hardening, and patch management.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in system administration, network administration, or network security.
- Practical experience managing IT infrastructure, servers, network devices, and security configurations.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Linux certifications are preferred.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
