Role Objective

To ensure accurate inventory management, proper product traceability, and effective dispatch operations through systematic recording, barcoding, and strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.Candidates with prior experience in FMCG and export-oriented operations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management

· Barcode and tag all incoming inventory before storage

· Enter product details into inventory management software (product name, quantity, batch number, shelf life)

· Record all inward and outward inventory movements in the system

· Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records

2. Batch & Shelf Life Tracking

· Maintain records of batch numbers and expiry/shelf life for all products

· Ensure full traceability of products supplied to customers

· Monitor and track expiry timelines regularly

3. FIFO Compliance

· Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) method

· Prioritize dispatch of products nearing expiry

· Inform Operations team about slow-moving or near-expiry stock

4. Weekly Inventory Checks

· Conduct weekly physical stock verification

· Reconcile physical stock with system records

· Identify and report discrepancies promptly

5. Dispatch Management

· Ensure every dispatch includes:

o System entry before shipment

o Correct batch allocation

o Accurate quantity verification

· Maintain detailed dispatch records

· Coordinate with Logistics and Operations teams for timely deliveries

· Support export dispatch processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and shipment readiness

6. Warehouse Organization





· Maintain a well-organized warehouse for easy product identification

· Ensure proper storage to avoid damage or batch mix-ups

· Follow safety and storage guidelines

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Goods Inward

· Receive and verify goods against delivery documents

· Barcode and label all items

· Enter details into the system (batch number, shelf life)

· Store products in designated locations

Inventory Monitoring

· Conduct weekly stock checks

· Update system with corrections if needed

· Flag near-expiry products to Operations

Order Dispatch

· Pick products based on FIFO principle

· Verify batch numbers and quantities

· Record dispatch in system before shipment

· Hand over shipment with proper documentation (including export-related documents where applicable)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Accuracy of inventory records

· Zero dispatch without system entry

· Strict FIFO compliance

· Timely completion of weekly inventory reports

· Minimal stock discrepancies

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Basic knowledge of inventory/warehouse management

· Familiarity with inventory software or Excel

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Good coordination and communication skills

· Ability to handle physical stock and warehouse operations

· Prior experience in FMCG and/or export industry is required/preferred

· Understanding of batch-wise inventory, shelf-life handling, and FIFO in FMCG products

Preferred

· Experience in export-oriented companies or international shipment handling

· Understanding of export documentation and dispatch processes

· Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or store operations

· Knowledge of barcoding and batch tracking systems

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
