Job Summary

Pulse Medi Care Hospital is looking for a skilled and dedicated Consultant Orthopedics to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions, including bone and joint disorders, fractures, sports injuries, and orthopedic emergencies. The candidate should demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent surgical skills where applicable, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
- Conduct outpatient consultations, clinical examinations, and patient assessments.
- Evaluate and treat fractures, dislocations, joint injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures according to qualifications, expertise, and hospital requirements.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication, rehabilitation, and surgical interventions when indicated.
- Manage orthopedic emergencies and provide timely medical intervention.
- Monitor patients' recovery and provide appropriate post-operative care and follow-up.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records, clinical documentation, and treatment reports.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options,



surgical risks, and rehabilitation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and applicable medical regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- MS/DNB in Orthopedics or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Previous experience as an Orthopedic Consultant is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Willingness to attend emergencies and participate in on-call duties as required.
