ASP.NET Core Developer (AI-Assisted Development)

About the role

We’re looking for an ASP.NET Core developer who builds fast, data-heavy web applications and uses modern AI tools to work smarter. You’ll own modules from start to finish, work on performance problems involving tables with millions of rows, and, as you grow, take on client communication and guide junior developers.

What you’ll do

- Build, test, and deploy scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Razor
- Diagnose and fix slow queries and pages in systems handling large datasets
- Maintain and improve existing applications, including debugging, upgrades, and refactoring
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries
- Take part in code and architecture reviews
- Use AI coding tools to speed up prototyping, refactoring, and debugging, while reviewing the output carefully

Must-have skills

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core / .NET
- Strong C# and Entity Framework / EF Core, including writing efficient queries
- Practical experience with SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning on large tables
- Razor Views and Partial Views (.cshtml), including structuring complex UIs
- HTML5, CSS frameworks, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and common design patterns
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and clean, maintainable code

AI and modern development

We expect you to use AI tools daily, and to use them well.



That means:

- Regularly using AI coding assistants such as Claude, Codex, or Copilot in your actual work
- Knowing when AI output is wrong and catching it before it ships
- Using AI to refactor, write tests, and explore unfamiliar code faster
- Willingness to try current tools and automate repetitive parts of your workflow

Our interview includes a practical exercise where you may use any AI tool you like.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with Redis caching
- Experience talking directly with clients and turning business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience leading or mentoring developers and conducting code reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
