Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Platform Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, platform administration, application development, and external system integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, implementing secure integrations, developing scalable Salesforce solutions, and supporting deployment and release activities.

The role requires a combination of declarative configuration and programmatic development, with a strong understanding of Salesforce security, API integrations, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, establish, validate, and maintain integrations between Salesforce Sales Cloud and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and OAuth-based authentication.
- Configure Salesforce platform settings, custom objects and fields, page layouts, permission sets, and managed packages according to business and integration requirements.
- Manage user provisioning, access controls, authentication, API users, and permission lifecycles in accordance with enterprise security standards.
- Develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processing, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and validation rules.
- Write and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries to support business logic, data retrieval, troubleshooting, and integration requirements.
- Monitor integration health, investigate failures, resolve data inconsistencies, and troubleshoot platform access and performance issues.




- Manage managed-package installation, configuration, upgrades, and compatibility testing.
- Support testing, regression validation, release cycles, and platform updates in collaboration with Product, Marketing, Development, and QA teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, workflow documentation, and integration specifications.
- Use source control and CI/CD tools to support code reviews, deployment automation, release management, and environment consistency.
- Identify technical risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate implementation alternatives to stakeholders.

Required Technical Expertise

- Salesforce Sales Cloud and integrations with external applications.
- Salesforce platform administration, configuration, application setup, and managed-package management.
- Salesforce Flow, validation rules, and other declarative automation tools.
- Apex development, including triggers, web services, and asynchronous processing.
- Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- SOQL and SOSL.
- Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and API access controls.
- REST/SOAP integrations, Connected Apps, OAuth authentication, API user management, and token lifecycle management.
- Git, Bitbucket, VS Code, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II Certification.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or Bash.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Quip, and Slack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
