We are looking for a skilled BIM Mechanical Modeler with 3+ years of experience in MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models for mechanical systems using BIM tools, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC and mechanical systems using Revit.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, sections, and layouts.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams to resolve clashes.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and ensure timely resolution.
- Work with LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 modeling standards.
- Extract quantities and assist in BOQ preparation.
- Update models based on site inputs and design revisions.
- Ensure adherence to company BIM standards and client requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, equipment layouts).
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
- Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and coordination processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in international projects is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
