Key Responsibilities:

- Handle purchase requirements based on customer POs, production plans, and material requirements.
- Procure sheet metal, copper, aluminium, stainless steel, machining materials, consumables, and other production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Stores to ensure timely material availability and avoid production delays.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Request quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize commercial terms.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on supplier commitments.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure on-time supply.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming material inspection and supplier quality issues.
- Track pending POs, delayed supplies, material shortages, and supplier performance.
- Control purchase costs and maintain competitive pricing.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier quotations, material rates, and MIS reports in ERP/Excel.




- Develop alternate suppliers and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in purchasing or procurement within sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or manufacturing industries.
- Good knowledge of engineering materials, grades, thicknesses, specifications, and material pricing.
- Solid supplier negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and ensure uninterrupted production.

We are looking for a candidate who can ensure the right material, at the right price, with the right quality, delivered at the right time.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
