Surana Energy India Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Accounts Executive / Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, financial records, and account reconciliation.

Candidates with prior experience in the coal trading industry will be preferred. However, experienced accountants from other industries with strong accounting knowledge and practical experience in Tally Prime and GST compliance are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
- Handle purchase bills, sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Manage GST accounting, GST returns coordination, and reconciliation.
- Handle e-way bills and e-invoicing wherever applicable.
- Maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer/vendor ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments and collections.
- Maintain purchase, sales, stock, and inventory records.
- Verify freight, transportation, loading, unloading, and other expense bills.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist with TDS, TCS, and other applicable statutory compliance.
- Prepare outstanding reports, account statements, and routine financial reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, customers, and suppliers.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills





- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred).
- 3–7 years of practical accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GST, invoicing, ledger reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting operations.
- Positive attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping.

Industry preference: Candidates with experience in coal trading, coal supply, bulk commodities, logistics, or trading businesses will receive preference. Candidates from other industries with relevant accounting experience are also encouraged to apply.
