job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, GST return filing, TDS payments, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling daily accounting operations, managing GST and TDS compliance, and coordinating with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for financial statements and ITR-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
- Handle sales and purchase entries, invoices, bills, vouchers, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform GST reconciliation and maintain supporting documents.
- Handle TDS payments, TDS portal activities, and related compliance.
- Conduct bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Assist with financial statement adjustments and ITR-related requirements in coordination with the CA.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting financial documents.
- Coordinate with the CA for taxation, statutory compliance,



and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Hands-on experience with GST return preparation and filing.
- Working knowledge of TDS payments and the TDS portal.
- Knowledge of sales and purchase accounting.
- Understanding of bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and financial statements.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate with practical accounting and taxation experience beyond basic data entry. The candidate should be comfortable handling GST returns, TDS payments, reconciliations, financial statements, and coordination with a CA.
