Essential skills for freshers include a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science, along with proficiency in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Employers also value problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and familiarity with manufacturing processes like CNC machining, welding, and additive manufacturing.
