Job Description:
The Echo Technician plays a vital role in the imaging department by performing echocardiograms and other related diagnostic procedures. The technician is responsible for obtaining high-quality images of the heart and related structures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the equipment used during echocardiographic studies. Responsibilities include preparing patients for echocardiograms, explaining procedures to patients, performing echocardiographic examinations, and collaborating with cardiologists to interpret results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting echocardiograms on patients as requested by physicians.
- Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
- Operating echocardiography equipment effectively and maintaining its functionality.
- Recording and analyzing images to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Assisting physicians in interpreting the echocardiographic findings.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
