Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Metrology Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for dimensional inspection, 3D scanning, measurement, and quality verification of mechanical and engineering components. Candidates with a solid technical foundation or hands-on experience in metrology and inspection activities are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform dimensional inspection and measurement of mechanical and engineering components.
- Operate portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and 3D scanning equipment.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, CAD models, tolerances, and customer requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Conduct 3D scanning, dimensional comparison, and deviation analysis.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain measurement documentation.
- Identify dimensional deviations and communicate inspection findings to the engineering team.
- Support reverse engineering, quality inspection, and engineering validation activities.
- Ensure measurement accuracy and proper handling of inspection equipment.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to understand inspection requirements.
- Complete assigned inspection activities within specified timelines.




- Follow quality procedures and maintain proper inspection records.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering, engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and measurement techniques.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection, CMM operation, or 3D scanning is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new measurement techniques and work with different engineering components.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or 3D scanning will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and experienced candidates capable of handling inspection activities are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for inspection activities, if required.
