Junior Interior Designer | Spaces11

Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru | Hybrid (This is not a fully remote position. Site visits and in-person coordination are an essential part of the role.)

Role Description

Spaces11 is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing design studio.

You will work closely with the team on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, contributing to design development, technical drawings, material selection, and project execution.

Please note: This is a HYBRID position, NOT a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate and be available to work from Whitefield and visit project sites across Bengaluru as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop space plans, design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, working drawings, and technical documentation.
- Create 3D models, visualizations, and presentation views.
- Research and select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and lighting.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and monitor execution progress.
- Ensure design intent, quality, and detailing are maintained during execution.
- Assist in client presentations, design discussions, and project coordination.
- Contribute to project photography, social media content, and portfolio development.

Required Skills

- AutoCAD – Mandatory (proficiency in working drawings and detailing)
- SketchUp and rendering software such as Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings
- Good communication,

- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

Work Arrangement

Work Mode: Hybrid — Combination of office, remote work, and project site visits across Bengaluru.

Site-visit travel allowance will be provided as per company policy.
