Job Description
* Ensure protected and efficient handling of mooring lines during berthing and unberthing operations.
* Inspect all mooring equipment, including bollards, hooks, winches, capstans, fairleads, and mooring lines, before and after operations.
* Maintain proper line tension and ensure that all mooring lines remain securely positioned throughout the vessel’s stay at berth.
* Respond promptly to mooring line adjustments required due to changes in tide, vessel draft, wind conditions, or vessel movement.
* Carry out minor maintenance activities such as tightening bolts, greasing mechanical components, replacing worn parts, and cleaning essential equipment and work areas.
* Assist in arranging and positioning dock blocks as required for docking and undocking operations.
* Carry out minor chipping and painting works as required during day-to-day FDD maintenance activities.
* Maintain cleanliness of the FDD and carry out routine housekeeping and cleaning activities.
* Assist the maintenance team in other routine mechanical and general upkeep activities on the FDD as required.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
