Job Title: Site Engineer

Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering
Experience: 5-8years (depending on project requirements)

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Manager

Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications, monitoring quality and progress, and maintaining site safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labour teams.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Check quantities, dimensions, levels, alignment, and measurements.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and consumption.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Assist with quantity estimation, BOQ verification, and billing measurements.
- Coordinate concrete pouring, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry,



plastering, and finishing activities, as applicable.
- Report project delays, material shortages, and site issues to the Project Manager.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of quantity surveying and measurement procedures.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site labour and contractors.
- Knowledge of construction quality control and safety practices.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction.
- Familiarity with concrete work, reinforcement, shuttering, finishing, and site documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Construction progress against the project schedule.
- Quality of executed work and reduction in rework.
- Material utilization and wastage control.
- Compliance with safety standards.
- Accuracy of measurements and site reports.
- Timely completion of assigned activities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
