Experience: 6–10 years
Industry: Manufacturing – Fasteners, Precision Components, Automotive / Electrical Components

About FNN Fasteners and Engineers

FNN Fasteners and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing company specialising in fasteners, SEMS screws, and precision components for electrical and industrial applications. With expanding manufacturing capabilities across our facilities, we are strengthening our quality function to improve systems, customer satisfaction, process control, and accountability.

We are looking for a Quality Manager who can take ownership of the quality function, lead the existing team, implement robust systems, and ensure that corrective and preventive actions translate into measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Quality & Complaint Management

- Independently manage customer complaints, root-cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and review 8D reports, CAPA reports, and other customer-specific quality documentation.
- Coordinate with customers on technical quality issues and ensure timely closure of complaints.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

2. Quality Systems & Process Implementation

- Implement and monitor quality systems, inspection standards, control plans, work instructions, and traceability procedures.
- Ensure quality procedures are followed consistently across manufacturing processes and locations.
- Manage internal audits,

customer audits, non-conformities, and follow-up actions.
- Identify gaps in existing systems and drive practical improvements in implementation and compliance.

3. Team Leadership & Accountability

- Lead and manage the quality team across in-process inspection, final inspection, customer quality, and quality documentation.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor daily execution, and ensure timely completion of inspections, reports, and corrective actions.
- Train team members, build technical capability, and establish explicit ownership within the department.
- Ensure the quality function operates effectively without constant management intervention.

4. Engineering & Continuous Improvement

- Conduct root-cause investigations using appropriate problem-solving tools.
- Work with production, engineering, plating, and heat-treatment teams to resolve process-related quality issues.
- Drive improvements in rejection rates, rework, process consistency, and repeat complaints.
- Validate corrective actions through data, trials, inspection results, and process monitoring.

5. Quality Performance Monitoring

- Monitor customer complaints, internal rejection, rework, repeat defects, audit findings, and pending corrective actions.

- Establish action owners and deadlines, follow up on overdue actions, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Use quality data to identify trends and prioritise improvement projects.

Candidate Requirements

- 6–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in fasteners, precision components, automotive, electrical components, or a similar engineering industry.
- Practical experience handling customer complaints, 8D reports, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action verification.
- Experience implementing and monitoring quality systems, conducting audits, and maintaining quality documentation.
- Proven ability to lead a quality team and get work completed through team members.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, engineering drawings, and measuring instruments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal departments.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 environments will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on quality leader who combines technical problem-solving with team management and systems implementation. The ideal candidate should be able to move beyond identifying defects and take responsibility for ensuring that problems are resolved, corrective actions are implemented, and the same issues do not recur.

Interested candidates can apply through Indeed with their updated CV.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
